Dear Valued Members, Singapore’s population is ageing, and more Singaporeans will need long-term care as they grow old. A stronger long-term care financing system supported by government subsidies, insurance, personal savings and family support provides Singaporeans greater assurance that they can afford long-term care for themselves and their loved ones.
On 3 July 2018, Ministry of Health (MOH) had announced a comprehensive package of new measures to help Singaporeans afford their long-term care costs in the event of severe disability: CareShield Life, MediSave for Long-term Care and ElderFund. IFPAS is collaborating with MOH on this briefing to share on the new measures and provide a platform to clarify on your queries.
The briefing on Long Term Care Planning is an opportunity for our members to get insightful information from government level and understand the policy making matters in Singapore better.
We would like to cordially invite you and your colleagues whom are IFPAS Members to attend this special sharing on Long Term Care Planning.
